We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon a small animal team at a successful veterinary practice in City of Perth area, Scotland

  • excellent full time opportunity including a weekend and OOH rota
  • practice is fully equipped with up to date equipment and facilities; 6 consult rooms, imaging suite, dental suite with dental x-ray, 2 theatres, endoscope, multi parameter machines and other anaesthetic monitoring equipment, in house laboratory etc.
  • interesting and varied surgical and medical caseload with visiting specialists for orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.
  • ideally you will already have some experience in a GP role and be confident with routine surgery and consults
  • professional development is encouraged and supported.
  • join an experienced, friendly and welcoming vet team.
  • CPD and certificate study funded.
  • RCVS and BVA memberships and VDS fees paid.
  • located in one of the best places to live in the UK, well placed to enjoy city life of Perth and surrounded by mountains and coast.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • some experience in a GP role
  • confident with routine surgery and consults
