When you join White Cross, you join a growing group. We have a network of clinics throughout Yorkshire with a new practice opening in September. This gives you the opportunity to shadow and learn from people in any area that interests you. We have our own dedicated people team who support from our head office in Leeds - you will know the faces of the people who support youm and they will know yours!

This place is a magnet for complex and interesting cases. We’ve got vets with certificates in Internal Medicine, Dentistry, and Surgery, plus a shiny new grad who’s settling in beautifully. Whether you’re a seasoned vet or someone looking to explore a specialism, you’ll be surrounded by talent - and plenty of clinical puzzles to sink your teeth into.

You’ll also be supported by our Practice Director, who is an internationally accredited coach and mentor. So whatever you want to develop - clinical, leadership, confidence, we’ve got your back.

The Role - Moulded Around You

• We have 32 hours available, but if you’re after fewer or something more bespoke - let’s chat
• No OOH, ever
• Saturdays? Just 1 in 4, until 12:30pm
• A typical week includes 2 theatre days + 1 second ops, but we’ll shape your rota around what lights you up
• 15-minute consults as standard, and 30 minutes for second opinions, dermatology, and the tricky ones
• Daily admin time protected (we don’t believe in playing catch-up at 6pm)

We’re a training practice for SVNs and take pride in coaching and teaching - but also in having a laugh and being human. Our wellbeing afternoons have included BB gun target practice in the car park, crafts in consult, and a surprising amount of glitter.

CPD you’ll actually use

• £1,250 CPD allowance + 40 hours paid leave
• Full certificate support
• Access to Vetlexicon, the IVC Academy, and the Care Fund (£1,250/year)
• Weekly protected time for case research and development
• Shadowing encouraged across White Cross sites (Handsworth, Leeds, Bradford, Doncaster - we're one big family)
