We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Medivet Binley.
Our Binley branch has recently undergone a major refurbishment and extension, giving a state of the art Prep room and separate operating theatre, kennels and cattery including large walk-in. There are two individual consultation rooms and a spacious reception area and waiting room.
The detached building has its own large car park for staff and clients, there is a beautiful mature lawned garden to the rear to exercise and relieve patients too. The long-standing team is headed up by Branch Partner Vet Gabriela, who has built up a loyal client base over the past seven years.
Client Care Assistant, Emma, has worked at Binley for many years as has Head Nurse, Kerrie. Assisted by Student Veterinary Nurse, Bethany and Veterinary Care Assistant, Chloe, the team are both friendly and fun. The practice welcomes a variety of local clients and has a wonderful reputation.
There's room to grow the practice further, with room for a second vet, working full time over four weekdays, plus one in six weekends at the nearby Leamington 24 hour Medivet Hospital.
This role is working 40 hours a week over 4 days with 1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 6 weekends. Please note part time and flexible working requirements will also be considered to suit your individual needs.

In This Role You Will
- Deliver exceptional clinical care to your patients during consultations and procedures.
- Provide exceptional care to your clients, giving clear updates on patients.
- Deliver professional excellence, observing the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance.
- Prepare tailored, accurate treatment and care plans for each patient with clear cost estimates.
- Engage, mentor and develop your team, enhancing their skills and utilising these in the most effective way.
- Complete clinical handover and arrange transfer of any patient needing out of hours or enhanced care.
- Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
- Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
- Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills.
- Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture.
- Experience of supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency.
- Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
