Veterinary Receptionist - PT

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our busy practice in Hampshire to cover Maternity leave. The candidate would ideally be able to work in any of our practices in Alton, Bordon or Grayshott, but this role is primarily in Bordon.

Main duties would include

• Answering the telephone, booking appointments and processing prescription requests
• Dealing with clients at the reception desk, taking payments and dealing with enquiries
• Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system, so good IT skills would be preferable

More About You

Full training will be provided however, our ideal candidate will have prior experience in reception or customer service, be comfortable handling both dogs and cats, and, most importantly, remain calm and composed under pressure.

Shift pattern

The role is for 29.5 hours per week, working various shifts between 8:15 am - 7:30 pm, Monday to Friday and includes Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
