We are looking for a friendly and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist who is dedicated to providing exceptional client care to join our team in Cwmbran.
As an essential part of our practice team you will be responsible for:
Wellpets Veterinary Practice is a dedicated, RCVS Accredited small animal practice located in Fairwater, Cwmbran. We take great pride in delivering exceptional care to both our patients and their owners, ensuring that every visit is met with compassion and professionalism. As a close-knit, supportive team, we foster a fun and collaborative working environment where each team member is valued and encouraged to grow. More about you
We are looking for someone who is organised, able to multitask in a busy environment and someone who can demonstrate a good level of interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
Working pattern
This a part-time role of 17.12 hours per week including 1:4 Saturday mornings 8:30 am - 1 pm. No out of hours.
In addition to a competitive salary, you will benefit from:
Up to £10,907.46 per annum
As an essential part of our practice team you will be responsible for:
- Taking phone calls, answering queries and booking appointments
- Greeting clients and their pets on arrival
- Check-in patients and verify their information
- Update patient records and ensure attention to detail
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Dispensing medication
- Maintain cleanliness of reception area and consult rooms
- Administration duties such as emails and signing up clients to our Pet Health Plan.
