The role
At Heywood, research is the foundation of everything we do. Our UX team serves as the voice of the user, championing the importance of prioritising user needs.
In this role, you will develop research plans by defining key questions and selecting methodologies that align with business objectives, ensuring that insights are relevant and actionable.
Design and conduct user research using methods such as surveys, interviews, usability testing, A/B testing, focus groups, and analytics.
Using tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar, you will analyse user data to uncover insights about behaviours, needs, and motivations. These findings will guide design decisions and improve user experiences.
After gathering research findings, you will create concise, actionable reports to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including designers, product managers, and developers, driving informed decision-making.
Collaboration with the design team is essential for integrating research findings into the design process. You will be working closely with designers, products owners and other stakeholders to create user-centric designs that meet audience needs.
You will also continuously look for opportunities to enhance research processes by optimizing methodologies and workflows, contributing to continuous improvement and excellence in UX research.
