About Our Nursery
Glasgow Oakwood, has a capacity of 172 and situated three miles south of the city, is made up of two buildings; Oak Cottage as a purpose-built facility for children aged 0 to 3, designed to support children at each age and stage of their development, and the Pre-School Centre, housed in a large Victorian villa and is home to children aged 3-5 to challenge children and prepare them for school. Oakwood nursery also provides after school care for children aged 5 to 12 years old. The rooms are bright, airy and alluring. The garden is spacious and exciting developing children's confidence, self-esteem and physical skills allowing children to expand their love of the outdoors. The team have worked hard to create an environment which facilitates a high standard of care and education, through high quality learning experiences which ensure children are eager learners fully equipped for their school adventures. Free onsite parking available.

- No formal qualifications required, though experience in early years settings is beneficial.
- A passion for working with children and a willingness to learn.
- Empathy and understanding - every child is unique.
- Good communication and team-working skills.
