Underwriting Team Leader

As the Air Risk Solutions Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Underwriting team and will manage the relationships with our capacity providers.

So, what does the role of Air Risk Solutions Team Leader involve ?

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of your team and supporting your Branch Director.
• Ensuring that the Underwriters and Account Handlers work within the confines of the Delegated Authorities that are in place
• Supervising the team and ensuring that they work with the confines of the company processes and procedures.
• Ensuring that the department achieve it’s growth targets
• Monitoring Loss ratios with insurers
• Forming relationships with a panel of approved brokers.
• Forming relationships with our capacity providers.
• File audits and audit feedback.
• Facilitating external audits where necessary.
• Responsible for the setting of personal training plans and carrying out appraisals for your direct reports
• Monitoring workflow.
• Help with FNOL to Insurers and some claims administration.
• Adhoc reports
• System and Product Development involving Liaison with External Software Consultants.
• Managing Bordereaux returns and dealing with queries.
