Join Us as an Unbeatable Quality Trainer!

At Warburtons, quality is at the heart of everything we do. Our strategy focuses on delivering unbeatable freshness, consistent excellence, and trusted products through continuous improvement and strong partnerships. We’re committed to baking the best for every customer, every day.

Are you passionate about empowering people through training? In this exciting role, you'll drive the design, delivery, and ongoing improvement of technical training programmes that support the Warburtons Quality Strategy and enable the delivery of unbeatable quality products. You’ll identify the right training solutions to build essential skills and knowledge across the business ensuring our teams are equipped to deliver excellence every day.

The Recipe

You’ll work closely with Operational Management to signpost available training provisions, identify skills and knowledge gaps, and design impactful training interventions. A key part of your remit will be managing the full lifecycle of the imPROVE programme, expanding its reach to include additional product platforms and ensuring all materials remain relevant and aligned with business needs.

As the primary contact for our bakery workplace assessors, you’ll ensure consistent communication, updates, and support, maintaining a robust network of assessors across the business. You’ll lead learning needs analyses, identify gaps, and develop innovative technical training solutions that are both engaging and pragmatic.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You’ll partner with subject matter experts to gather requirements and translate them into creative, business-focused training content. You’ll also organise the creation of product knowledge packs to support innovation and new product launches, working alongside UQ Managers, Innovation and Baking Technology Managers, and the Centre TLC to uphold best practices and training standards.

Delivering high-quality training courses, both existing and newly developed, up to senior management level, will be a core responsibility. You’ll ensure all logistics, documentation, and schedules are in place, and use the Learning Hub to promote and host training offerings. Post-course evaluations and classroom observations will help you maintain high delivery standards and continuously improve our training provision.

Externally, you’ll build relationships with industry bodies, stay ahead of bakery trends, and explore how technology can enhance our training. You’ll advise the Head of Analysis, Regulatory and Training on emerging technologies and may develop business cases to support new initiatives.

Finally, working with the Centre Quality SLT and function Heads, you’ll support the identification of talent, recommend development opportunities, and ensure our technical training provision supports long-term business goals.
