Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a passionate and innovative UK Group Safety Specialist to provide guidance to business unit safety teams on effective operational safety practices and Group wide standards and frameworks.
You will be a trusted advisor advising business units on operational safety and facilitating collaboration through group wide networks to promote best practices, While building strong relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

What You'll Do
You are dedicated to fostering a safe working environment across a broad and varied operational landscape. With practical experience in high-risk industries and a solid understanding of construction and/or electrical safety, you will work collaboratively across teams to strengthen safety culture and ensure compliance.
Your expertise includes a deep understanding of UK Health and Safety legislation, particularly the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015, as well as hands-on experience with safety management systems. You actively contribute to safety training, audits, and compliance monitoring, and engage with Business Unit safety leads to ensure alignment with governance standards.
Your resilience, confidence, and willingness to challenge unsafe behaviours make you a strong advocate for continuous improvement.
Education: A Nebosh General certificate (and or equivalent)
Experience: Health and Safety expertise in high-risk sectors, with in-depth knowledge of construction and/or electrical operations.
Desirable: Technical experience in Electrical Operations
Skills: Strong Stakeholder management and communication skills, analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft programs including MS PowerPoint.
Travel: Willingness to travel in the UK as required, with full driving license.

What You'll Do
- Develop Resources: Create user-friendly guidance materials, toolkits and documents to enhance the Group Safety Frameworks.
- Conduct Operational Audits and Inspections: Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify risks proactively and provide recommendations for non-compliance.
- Monitor Safety Indicators: Track and analyse safety performance indicators to detect trends and potential problem areas, enabling proactive recommendations before issues arise.
- Participate in Incident Investigations: Conduct investigations as required to ensure investigations are conducted at a sufficient level, gathering information and implementing lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
- Assist with Training: Support the development and delivery of safety training programs.

What You'll Get
- Competitive Salary: circa £55,000 per annum (dependent on capability, and experience).
- An annual performance bonus.
- 26 days holiday, plus eight statutory days and an option to buy extra holiday days
