Additionally, Beyond Self includes e-pharmacy integration, crisis support, and the use of emerging technologies like VR/AR for immersive therapy experiences, ensuring a holistic and scalable approach to mental health in Africa.

• They are looking for a VOLUNTEER Full-Stack Web Developer.

Role Description: CogniX is looking for a creative and driven UI/UX Designer to join our team in building an innovative web platform focused on improving mental healthcare. This position requires a passion for design, user-centered thinking, and experience in creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in UI/UX design, prototyping, and working collaboratively with developers to bring designs to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers and developers to design and create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for the web platform.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize and test user flows.
• Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and iterate on designs.
• Ensure consistency in design across the platform by adhering to design systems and brand guidelines.
• Optimize the user experience by making informed design decisions based on user feedback, analytics, and best practices.
• Work closely with developers to ensure design implementation matches vision and functionality, supporting an efficient development process.
• Contribute to improving the overall user journey and interface design, making sure the platform is accessible and engaging.

Technologies & Skills:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
• Experience in UI/UX design processes, from research and wireframing to prototyping and testing.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking.
• Familiarity with responsive design and an understanding of how design works across web and mobile platforms.
• Experience with HTML/CSS for communicating design intentions to developers.
