About The Role
The Treasury Manager will be responsible for managing the Group’s treasury operations, ensuring effective cash management, liquidity planning, funding, and risk management. This role will also support the strategic development of treasury policies, manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, and ensure compliance with UK and international financial regulations.

The Treasury Manager will be responsible for managing the Group’s treasury operations, ensuring effective cash management, liquidity planning, funding, and risk management. This role will also support the strategic development of treasury policies, manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, and ensure compliance with UK and international financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities;
Cash & Liquidity Management
- Oversee daily cash management, forecasting, and reporting for the UK companies, as well as consolidating Group companies outside of the UK into consolidated cashflow reporting.
- Ensure optimal liquidity to support operational and strategic requirements.
- Manage intercompany funding, pooling arrangements, and cash repatriation.
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, ensuring competitive terms and access to funding.
- Support the negotiation and management of bank facilities, loan agreements, and covenant compliance.
- Assist in the evaluation of debt issuance, refinancing, and alternative financing options.
- Monitor key banking covenants and ensure the Group remain compliant with renewals, deadlines and other responsibilities.
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate treasury-related risks (FX, interest rate, counterparty risk to name a few).
- Develop and implement appropriate hedging strategies in line with Group policy.
- Ensure compliance with UK treasury regulations and internal controls.
- Manage and improve treasury systems, processes, and reporting tools.
- Ensure treasury operations align with the Group’s governance and compliance framework.
- Support audit, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Provide treasury input to M&A, capital expenditure, and strategic projects.
- Advise management on cash, funding, and risk implications of business decisions.
- Prepare treasury reports and presentations for senior leadership and the Board.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or AMCT (Association of Corporate Treasurers) qualified.
- 5+ years’ experience in a treasury function, ideally within a UK group structure.
- Strong knowledge of cash management, FX, debt instruments, and treasury processes.
- Solid understanding of UK corporate finance and treasury regulations.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Exposure to trade finance products that complement the treasury role, such as ABL’s, Bank Guarantees and ILC’s.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with banks and lenders.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator, able to present complex treasury concepts clearly to non-specialists.
- Proactive, commercially minded, and able to work independently.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
