what You'll Do
- Accountable for the delivery of all aspects of the shift operation ensuring the delivery of efficient & customer focussed service
- Ensure colleagues are managed effectively to achieve all required standards of operational performance
- Managing transport resources to ensure safe & legal operations, enforce walk around inspections, load security and gatehouse checks
- Conduct effective shift briefs and performance dialogues
- Supporting the achievement of all operational & financial KPI's
- Manage Driver performance/behaviours through Telematics to identify any major discrepancies and manage through the appropriate processes
- Must have previous experience within a management role
- Must have previous experience within a transport environment
- Previous experience within legal compliance for transport
- Strong communications skills
