The post holder will be responsible for the instruction of military students in Communication systems principles.

You will provide the delivery of Radio Frequency systems principles to Royal Navy students on their Phase 3 career courses across the 4 cadres of the Weapons Engineering department.

This role is a Term time only role with 2 weeks holiday at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. Salary is pro rata'd on this basis

Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver training in maintenance principles of Royal Navy Communications systems in support of the Roya Navy Weapon Engineering (WE) Department.
  • Delivering training to groups of up to 16 delegates
  • Using data, information and insight on the performance of individual establishment, to drive continuous improvement and learning across Royal Navy training.
  • Working collaboratively with Learning and Development, Training Delivery staff, to identify and support a personalised approach to learning and development, focusing on the learner journey based on accurate assessments of the particular knowledge, skills and understanding that every trainee brings.
  • Supporting and advising on the piloting and implementation of modernised training courses within establishment

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience working with Radio Frequency (RF) communications in a technical role
  • Knowledge of Royal Navy training and/or experience, would be an advantage
  • Previous training delivery experience would be an advantage
  • Confident individual
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders
  • Ability to work within a team environment as well as using own initiative
  • Must be able to be cleared to UK SC level
