TRAINING COORDINATOR – FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Training Coordinator to join the team at Galliford Try within our Facilities Management Business.
Ideally, you will based in or around the Romford area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.

TRAINING COORDINATOR – FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Training Coordinator to join the team at Galliford Try within our Facilities Management Business.
Ideally, you will based in or around the Romford area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.
- Organise and plan training events as required to include all types of training
- Create and maintain competencies, in line with core competency requirements, reflecting the requirements of the business
- Efficiently arrange all training courses to include venues, refreshments, joining instructions and any other ancillary requirements
- Liaise with delegates and prospective delegates to acknowledge bookings and provide details about courses
- Raise and notify supplier of purchase order numbers as soon as course has been confirmed
- Create and maintain learning and training records with generation of a monthly training reports.
- CITB Grant and Apprenticeship Levy administrative tasks completed with agreed throughout the financial year
- Accurate preparation and despatch of Joining Instructions
- Accurate collation/preparation of course materials (as required)
- Ensure renewal dates for existing competencies do not lapse and certificates are renewed as required
- Compile reports and management information as directed for audit purposes
- Check and up-date all course costs following training events
- Check and process all training certificates
- Ensure certificates are despatched to the appropriate delegates
- Follow-up any delayed or missing certificates with the supplier
- Prepare reports to keep Senior Management Teams informed with process, compliance & any arising issues within are of responsibility
- Manage the provision of confidential and sensitive information
- Able to organise and plan own workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Possess excellent customer care skills e.g. dealing with suppliers, internal customers, complaints etc.
- Able to liaise and communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Willingness to participate in the development of new processes and in team activities
- Displays a positive and helpful attitude to customers at all times.
- Provide a high quality service by telephone and e-mail
- Act promptly to resolve customer complaints (or refers promptly if appropriate)
- Keeps customer informed of progress and what has been done
- Experience of working in a complex multi- contracted environment
- Experience of e-learning and other online methodologies
- Computer literate with knowledge/experience of Microsoft suite i.e. word, excel, PowerPoint
- Involvement of external funding bodies and experience of data processes required would be useful
- Experience of coordinating a team and providing support to other team members
