Water Hygiene Technician (Full training provided)

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is just starting out or looking for a career change. We are looking for a motivated individuals to join us as a Trainee Water Hygiene Technician. Full training, all necessary tools, and dedicated support will be provided to ensure your success.

The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, a positive and friendly manner and the ability to quickly build good working relationship. Whilst a large part of this role will involve lone working, you will be the friendly face of the company on customer premises acting as a our ambassador.

What you'll be doing:

You will manage a set route of customer sites that you will visit on a monthly basis. You'll build and maintain great relationships with your customers, ensuring their water systems are safe and compliant. You will learn and perform essential tasks:

  • Inspecting and cleaning water storage vessels.
  • Installing and servicing Thermostatic Mixing Valves.
  • Conducting routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 and ACop L8, such as flushing water outlets, monitoring temperatures, and descaling showerheads.

We'll teach you everything you need to know, from using our SimPRO system to manage your workload to spotting potential problems and providing solutions.

What we're looking for:

You must have a full UK driving license with no more than 6 points, and confidence speaking with customers. You should have a desire to work with your hands and a willingness to travel frequently. An interest in DIY or using tools is a bonus but not essential.

This is a field-based, permanent and full-time opportunity, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
