Career Connect is the education sector’s leading careers service partner – and we’re looking for a Trainee Careers Adviser to join our highly successful school and colleges team working across Manchester.

We work with more than 200 schools and colleges across the country, creating inspiring, tailored Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance packages to meet their students’ needs.

We care about careers, and we want to invest in your future, so we will fund a Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance & Development, as part of your training, worth over £3,000.

Whilst you train, you will work alongside our highly professional careers advisers in a number of schools, delivering one-to-one impartial career guidance, motivational group work and employer encounters with young people.

You will be able to draw on your colleagues’ wealth of experience and best practice when it comes to planning and delivery – and of course, we’d love you to share yours. We always encourage innovation.

We can offer flexibility for full-time/part-time work/term time working arrangements. We believe that both part-time and full-time staff make a valuable contribution to our workforce.

Your salary will be starting at £26,262, rising to £30,012 when qualified 

Qualifications

Level 3 or 4 Qualification in Careers, Advice and Guidance is desirable, but if you’ve got at least one year’s experience working with young people in a similar role, we’d like to hear from you.
