Salary: Circa £33,500 per annum + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

As a graduate joining SSE Thermal within the Digital Engineering team you will be at the forefront of building a better world of flexible thermal energy for future generations. Working within the Digital Engineering team you could be providing Operational Technology security solutions, monitoring the condition of our assets or working with innovative technology, enabling the thermal business to grow. Graduates will follow a pathway where they will work with experts in their specialism, gaining exposure across the Thermal business for the duration of their 2 year graduate programme. Graduates will begin their programme within their host team and will expect to gain an a role within the digital engineering team upon successful completion of the graduate programme.

You'll be on track to have a 2:2 honours degree in one of the following degree disciplines; Computer science, data science, cyber security.

We'd love you to have some practical work experience that reflects your passion for the energy sector, as well as demonstrable experience of working in a team. You'll also be comfortable working to and setting stretching individual targets and using your own initiative to overcome challenges and should have a genuine interest in SSE Thermal and the prospect of a long term future with us.
