We have an opportunity for a Test Lead to join their team of staff in the Group IT Department.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Significant (8+ years) experience in leading QA Testing within large (~£500M+ annual revenue, 10,000+ end-users, 40+ different locations) healthcare organisations, including IT PMO development and continuous improvement.
• Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience
• Professional QA Testing qualification. E.g. ISTQA / ISEB certificate or similar
• In depth knowledge of IT QA processes and techniques.
• In depth knowledge and experience of all testing, System, SIT, UAT, Regression
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals including Senior Management, Executives and Directors
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
  
  

Duties Of This Role Include

• Implementation of the Testing strategy
• Ensuring IT solutions are thoroughly tested when they are delivered to the business/end users
• Plan and define a QA / Testing process to support the successful delivery of system/business change
• Leading the testing team to ensure the success of the project
• Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
• Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.
• Deploying and managing resources for testing including the project team members and stakeholders within the business
• Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the testing team
• Planning deploying and managing the testing effort for any given engagement
