We specialise in the design and manufacture of ground-breaking renewable-energy technology products.

We are looking a Test and Development Engineer to join our engineering team. The QA and Test Engineers are responsible for testing our products at all stages of their development, and for investigating any problems that are reported by our customers. These tests are an essential part of our development process and you will work very closely with the engineering team, ensuring that the test are thorough and that the results are systematically recorded and fed back to the product owners.

Responsibilities:

Carrying out testing of new devices and features, and recreating any issues reported

Create, maintain and execute test cases and test suites

Performing code reviews and software failure path analysis

Involvement in design validation planning and reporting

Maintaining accurate records

Writing detailed reports for the development engineers, customer and third parties

Understanding and interpreting product standards and specifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

A relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience

Experience testing electrical / electronic equipment including basic finding

Ability to interpret technical specifications and produce test cases to perform software validation

Ability to read circuit schematics and perform validation testing against component/design specification

Knowledge of at least one programming language (ideally C or Python)

Knowledge and experience of agile working practices an advantage
