In this role you will add value to PXP by:


We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Author to join our team and produce clear, precise, and user-friendly documentation. As a Technical Author, you will play a key role in creating comprehensive content, including integration guides, API documentation, and workflow instructions, that empower developers and users to successfully implement and use our products.


A typical week as a Technical Author might involve:


  • Develop detailed technical documents, user guides, integration manuals, and troubleshooting content that simplify complex concepts for our users.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and engineering teams to understand new features, updates, and changes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Translate intricate technical specifications into clear, well-structured guides that address the needs of developers, engineers, and technical users.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, style, and structure across all documentation, adhering to company guidelines and best practices.
  • Continuously improve and update existing documentation to reflect product changes, bug fixes, and new releases.
  • Gather input from subject matter experts and perform necessary testing to ensure that all documentation is accurate, functional, and easy to follow.
  • Provide documentation that empowers users to troubleshoot issues independently, enhancing the customer experience and reducing support inquiries.


We are looking for someone who:


  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Technical Author, Technical Writer, or similar role, with a focus on writing integration and API documentation for web technologies.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a strong ability to explain complex technical topics in a simple, engaging manner.
  • Understanding of web development, API integrations, software architecture, and the ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
  • Experience with documentation platforms and tools.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring that all documentation is precise, accurate, and follows established standards.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, gathering information, feedback, and ensuring accuracy.


We would love someone to have any of the following:


  • Familiarity with programming languages or experience working with web technologies and frameworks.
  • Experience using version control tools like Git to manage documentation changes.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to documentation for ongoing releases and sprints.
