The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Energy business for a Technical Support Manager within the Overhead Lines department.
The Technical Support Manager role will work as part of the technical support team, supporting the pre-construction, training, resourcing and methodology departments.
Responsibilities
CITB Site Management or equivalent Electrical qualification
NVQ Management Level 3 or equivalent (preferable or working towards)
CSCS Accreditation

The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Energy business for a Technical Support Manager within the Overhead Lines department.
The Technical Support Manager role will work as part of the technical support team, supporting the pre-construction, training, resourcing and methodology departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and insight to our tender teams
- Work with the management team in developing a suite of Construction Work Instructions and ensuring these are communicated to the project teams.
- Maintaining a digital library of Construction Work Instructions
- Assist the training department in ensuring the correct competencies are in place for our skilled work force
- Identifying gaps in competence and arranging the necessary training to ensure full compliance with company and client procedures.
- Carrying out on site competency assessments of our work force to keep competence up-to-date
- Support the Management Team in the development and maintenance of a competency framework for our work force
- Carrying out on site audits on live schemes to ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures
- Provide coaching and support to project teams on competency and Work Instructions as required.
- Support in the review and update of company procedures aligned to client expectations
CITB Site Management or equivalent Electrical qualification
