CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Supervisor to oversee the operation of our managed facilities.

The Technical Supervisor will be responsible for managing a portfolio of buildings, ensuring preventative maintenance is performed, responding to client requests, and identifying and pursuing opportunities for facility improvements and additional service offerings.

The Role


  • Oversee and manage all aspects of facility operations, including but not limited to: electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security systems, and building automation systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to these schedules.
  • Respond to and resolve client requests and maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage and oversee vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, managing performance, and ensuring quality of service.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned facilities and the surrounding area.
  • Assist with the development of proposals and bids for new business.
  • Opportunity to grow, supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and other facility staff.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and financial metrics.

Hours


  • Monday – Friday
  • 8am – 5pm
  • Overtime available

This is a mobile role based between our Warrington, Blackburn & Preston sites!

Experience & Qualifications


  • FM knowledge required
  • Technical knowledge advantageous
  • Strong leadership skills
