Technical Services Engineer

Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. Only 14 miles from London, Bombardier’s Biggin Hill Service Centre is ideally located to support operators in the UK region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effective delivery of the Tech Servies Function to support Base/ Line Maintenance activities.
• Management of SRPSA’s working in line with Company processes.
• Source & Review of Technical Drawings & technical data upon request from Operations
• Raise SRPSA’s as required for Alternate PN’s & update our SAP System
• Support the Development of process for Tech Services Function
• Ensure clear communication between key departments is carried out
• Support the creation of complex task breakdowns
• Drive continuous improvement and set standards to improve performance.
• Oversee and provide direction to all Tech Services projects within the organisation.
• Develop and track key KPIs within the Tech Services function, to identify and highlight deviations in the standards.
  
  
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to work unsupervised when required to do so.
• Good awareness of Aviation safety.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous extensive experience of aircraft MRO activities within an EASA/CAA environment.
• Experience in delivery of projects to agreed time and cost constraints
• Strong leadership and management skills in highly commercial environment
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
• Collaborative approach to working and team motivator
