Our Sat Connect IC business unit, a division of our Satellite Systems business is a leading provider of ASICs, software, multibeam electronically steered antennas, and complete systems for communication satellites, as well as ground and airborne terminals. Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to lead R&D projects encompassing Mixed signal ASIC design/validation, Post Silicon, hardware (HW) and software (SW) development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex projects, extensive experience in the aerospace and defence industry and a proven track record of successfully delivering ASIC projects on time and within budget.
The role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and stakeholders, to drive innovation and deliver cutting-edge solutions for space applications.
Job Description
As a technical program manager, you will work closely with the engineering manager and line managers and lead cross functional engineering efforts delivering cutting edge systems for the satellite communication. You will work with industry experts and teams, driving and coordinating work done in house and at external vendors.
Project management - project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. Develop and maintain project schedules, tasks, and resource allocations to ensure project milestones are achieved within defined timelines and budget constraints. Consolidate plans of different engineering departments, external vendors and suppliers.
Cross-functional Collaboration - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, ASIC designers, hardware engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders, to drive project success. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment to facilitate communication, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving across disciplines.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and uncertainties to minimize the impact on project outcomes. Proactively identify potential roadblocks, dependencies, and resource constraints and develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to address them effectively.

Requirements
- Proven track record of leading technology projects in the field of VLSI (chip development / complex IP development)
- An analog background is an advantage
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management / team leadership
- BSc/Master in engineering or MBA
- Background in Satellite industry / Aviation industry / Networking industry – an advantage
- Strong time-management skills, organizational skills, problem solving and escalation skills
- Clear and concise communication skill
- Team player
- Ability to work in high demanding and dynamic environment
