This is what you’ll actually do!

As a Quality Auditor, your primary responsibility is to monitor the quality of products on the production line, ensuring that all process controls are consistently met and accurately recorded on the relevant documentation to comply with customer and legislative requirements. You will support the Quality Manager by promptly highlighting any issues as they arise, allowing for timely corrective actions. In addition, you will assist the production staff by ensuring that all process sheets contain accurate, up-to-date, and legible information.

Your role involves conducting process audits in line with RAG and QAS standards to verify compliance. You will also perform visual inspections and measurement tests on products as required. You will carry out various audits such as hygiene, fabrication, glass and hard plastics, GMP, and internal audits in accordance with the set schedules once you are fully trained.

Part of your responsibilities includes generating and maintaining the necessary documentation to support the manufacturing team and actively seeking ways to improve quality and processes to meet customer expectations. You are expected to attend daily or weekly meetings as needed and take production samples for testing as per the testing schedule.

Any issues that could compromise product safety or legality must be reported to the Quality Manager immediately. This includes quarantining or isolating any materials that do not meet food safety or quality standards.

You will work closely with the technical team to resolve any quality-related issues and provide cover for colleagues in the technical department during sickness or holidays.
