Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Carry out on-site services (commissioning/service/health check/breakdown/training) of Pulsar Measurement products installed at customer locations.
- Provide remote technical support for Pulsar products via telephone, email, Teamviewer, MS Teams and other platforms.
- Identify opportunities for repeat site service business at customer locations.
- Identify and feedback any trends with the use or behavior of Pulsar Measurement products through site services or remote technical support.
- Resolving technical customer queries liaising with Sales/Quality/R&D/Product Management teams as necessary.
- Assist with testing new product developments as required.
- Assist with processing equipment returned for repair as required.
- Feedback any updates in H&S practices required for site activities in target industries.
- Provide VOC feedback to Product Management/Quality/Engineering teams for product enhancement or NPI purposes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Technical electrical/electronic engineering background. A formal qualification is preferred.
- A sound, logical approach to learning and problem solving.
- Good understanding of industrial measurement equipment and measurement techniques.
- Experience servicing/repairing electrical equipment
- Good understanding of on-site health and safety requirements employed throughout target industries.
- Ability to safely work alone and with others as part of a team.
- Confident and calm telephone manner.
- Full Driving Licence.
- Good time management and planning skills.
- A formal qualification in electronic engineering is preferred
- Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint
- Physical Demand(s): Can lift up to 75 lbs, sitting for reasonable periods of time
- Visual Demand(s): Ability to look at a computer monitor for reasonable periods of time
- Hazard(s): Manufacturing environment
