OUR HOTEL

A modern Doncaster hotel with excellent transport links, free parking, free Wi-Fi and breakfast included Holiday Inn Express Doncaster hotel is three miles from the town centre. The nearby M18 and A1(M) motorways provide easy access to the whole region. There's free on-site parking. You can join excited football fans at Doncaster Rovers' Keepmoat Stadium or have a flutter at the Doncaster Racecourse, both within 10 minutes of the hotel by car. If you prefer retail therapy, the Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping Centre is less than a mile away. You can host your clients in the hotel's two naturally lit, air-conditioned meeting rooms, which have free Wi-Fi and space for up to 40 guests. If you're in for a long day, you can order catered lunches, from sandwiches and chips to a full, hot buffet. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMIS CHEF AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

• Take on basic preparing, cooking of meals and serving to guests.
• Clear tables and pot wash.
• Keep an organised kitchen and monitor stock levels.
• Participate in regular cleaning duties to ensure all equipment and surfaces are kept spotless.
• Quickly learn and adapt to kitchen procedures and be responsible
• Follow hygiene and food safety standards rigorously.
• Multitasking role expected to support front office team with bar and dealing with guests.
  
  

What We Need From You

• Genuine interest in cooking and being responsible in a Hotel kitchen.
• Experience in cooking and preparing meals is essential.
• Understanding of basic food prep techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness and food safety.
• Team-oriented mindset, able to take direction well and support colleagues as needed.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, staying focused and reliable during busy services.
