Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Desired: Fork Lift Truck (counterbalance) licence holder and experienced driver (training can be provided)
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
Manages self and interacts with others in ways which encourage their contribution to business performance

JUDGEMENT AND DECISIONS
Authority to stop production/tool changes in the event of detecting non-conforming product/ process or practice and inform immediate supervison and/or escalate to appropriate person.

Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- To ensure manufactured parts are Produced On Time, at the Correct Rate, to the Std Work Elements and to the correct Quality Std with Correctly Trained associates.
- Ensure team members respect Health & Safety, 5S and other relevant procedures within your control.
- Promoting a continuous improvement environment.
- Effective open communication, also conducting team briefs as required.
- Ensure that all relevant BPCS and bar code scanning transactions are accurately completed in a real time environment.
- Ensuring that first level TPM’s are conducted where and when applicable.
- To complete tool changes efficiently and safely whenever requested to do so to satisfy customer requirements.
- Ensuring that the OEE visual management information within your area is correct i.e. hourly target / actual / scrap / breakdowns / training matrices.
- Following the relevant escalation procedure when and where applicable.
- For proactively undertaking tool cleaning including the use of the ‘Dry-Ice’ machine whenever necessary.
- For proactively maintaining tooling to meet required standards of cleanliness, organisation and working function.
- For completing any other duties as may reasonably be required.
