YOUR ROLE

Are you a skilled warehouse professional with strong leadership experience? We are looking for a dynamic Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at our busy, multi-use site in Daventry.

In this key role, you will lead and support a diverse team of warehouse colleagues, ensuring smooth shift operations, high performance, and exceptional service delivery to our customers.

This is a Monday to Friday role with a flexibility needed to suit the operational needs.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Warehouse Shift Manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance and wellbeing of your team. You will lead by example, motivating and coaching colleagues to meet and exceed key performance indicators while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.You will ensure your team is well-supported by managing schedules, handling absences and leave, leading performance conversations, and fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous development.

You will be to ensure that all Health & Safety protocols are followed rigorously, creating a safe and compliant workplace. You’ll play an active part in reporting and investigating any incidents or accidents and making sure corrective actions are implemented where necessary.You will keep the operations running smoothly by proactively managing shift activities, resolving issues as they arise, and working closely with other departments to ensure operational efficiency. In addition, you’ll take ownership of customer fulfilment and experience, making sure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time to meet – and exceed – expectations.

Continuous improvement is at the heart of what we do, therefore you will contribute to identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance service, efficiency, and team performance.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role within a fast-paced logistics or distribution environment. You will bring strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a small team to consistently achieve high standards of performance and productivity.You will have hands-on experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

You will have a results-focused approach, along with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines and operational targets. You will have excellent people skills to build a positive team culture, handle performance conversations confidently, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
