Role Overview

Due to business expansion we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Team Leader to join our fast-paced food manufacturing team. You’ll lead and develop teams, ensuring efficient production while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong leadership mindset and experience in production environments to make a real impact. Working a rotational shift pattern, over 3 rotating shifts: 6:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00 (8hr shifts) based at our site in Bretton, Peterborough.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee production operations to meet business and customer requirements
  • Drive adherence to food safety, quality, and lean manufacturing standards
  • Manage team performance and optimize labour use
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and proactively address safety concerns
  • Analyse and utilise KPIs to drive performance improvements


Essential
  • Experience in a relevant discipline
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset


Desirable
  • Qualification in Continuous Improvement
  • Health & Safety certification (IOSH)
  • HACCP Level 2 certification
  • Experience with SAP or Infor M3 ERP systems
