Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme

Location: Grantham

Salary: £85 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)

Start time: Immediate

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time

Responsibilities Of The Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme

• Assist in delivering lessons and supporting the teacher in daily classroom activities.
• Provide targeted support to students, both individually and in small groups, to enhance their learning.
• Foster an inclusive environment where all students can thrive, particularly those with additional learning needs.
• Support classroom management, ensuring a safe and focused atmosphere.
• Help prepare resources, activities, and materials for lessons.
  
  

Requirements Of The Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme

• Experience in care, working with vulnerable adults, or in roles such as sports coaching or children's entertainment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their educational and emotional development.
• Ability to adapt to different classroom settings and support teachers in maintaining an engaging learning environment.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and encourage students.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
