Teaching Assistant

Location: Andover

Salary Scale: £76.92 to £103.04 per day

Start Date: ASAP

About The Role

GSL Education are working with a wonderful school in Andover, and we are currently looking for a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant to become part of our team. The school offers excellent facilities, including a sensory room, soft play areas, and spacious outdoor environments.

Teaching Assistant Role

• Support teachers in the planning and delivery of dynamic and engaging lessons.
• Offer individualised assistance to students, aiding them in understanding complex concepts and achieving academic excellence.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting student participation and collaboration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative teaching strategies and resources.
• Contribute to the holistic development of students by nurturing their social and emotional well-being.
• Gain valuable hands-on experience in a lively educational setting, ideal for those aspiring to become teachers.
  
  

Requirements For Teaching Assistant Role

• Hold a bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• Be available for work Monday to Friday.
• Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring towards students.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with us).
• A fully checkable work history.
• Flexibility to adapt to various teaching styles and environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
