Salary: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About The Role

As a Teaching Assistant in the Hedge End, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised support to a student, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Of Teaching Assistant (TA)

• Tailor educational activities and resources to meet the specific needs of the student.
• Help the students understand and complete their work, providing additional explanations and assistance as needed.
• Provide feedback to teachers and adjust support strategies as necessary.
• Ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
• Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where the student feels valued and included.
• Cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of the student.
• Report to teachers, parents, and other relevant parties.
  
  

Requirements Of Teaching Assistant (TA)

• Demonstrate an understanding of the unique challenges and needs of the student.
• Effectively communicate with the student, parents, and colleagues, building positive and supportive relationships.
• Ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community.
• Exhibit patience and empathy in your interactions.
• Relevant qualifications or training in primary education (desirable but not essential).
  
  

To work with us as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with us.
