Job Summary: Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start

Location: Slough

Salary: £85.00 - £100.00 per day

GSL Education Watford is seeking a compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Slough. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in an inclusive and engaging environment.

About The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students' academic and personal development. Your role will involve assisting with lesson delivery, providing one-on-one or small group support, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. You will also help with behaviour management and create opportunities for all students to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide individual or small group support to students with additional needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students’ emotional and social development.
  • Help with classroom organisation and preparation of resources.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure students’ needs are met effectively.

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach to working with students.
  • A commitment to fostering inclusivity and student growth.
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced child DBS on the Update Service.
