At Holmbush Primary Academy, we offer a safe, stimulating learning environment for over 205 pupils aged 4 to 11. Our spacious classrooms are well-resourced and filled with natural light, providing an ideal setting for learning.
With excellent ICT provision, including networked computers and a variety of portable devices, we enrich our curriculum with technology. Our extensive library offers a vast selection of books for children to borrow and enjoy at home.
Our outdoor space features playground equipment to enhance physical development, along with an outside classroom and conservation woodland where we maximise our outdoor learning activities.

- Maths and English GCSE Grade A- C or equivalent
- Knowledge of SEN
- Experience of establishing positive relationships with students and the ability to empathise with their needs.
The role of Teaching Assistant is crucial in promoting the learning and personal development of all pupils; including but not exclusively, those with special education needs. To succeed in this role, you will need to:
- provide support to the Teacher in the planning and evaluation of learning activities and support the delivery of learning activities
- motivate and encourage students by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks
- consistently and effectively implement agreed behaviour management strategies.
