Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural and emotional needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored learning interventions.
- Support students in developing social skills, self-regulation, and academic progress.
- Monitor and report on student progress, adapting support strategies as needed.
- Previous experience working in a PRU or Alternative Provision setting is preferred.
- Understanding of behaviour management strategies and how to support students with challenging behaviours.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students, staff, and parents.
- A positive and empathetic approach to supporting students with complex needs.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
