About Our Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a TAR Administrator / Document Controller to join our Central Operations TAR (Turnaround) Team. The role is varied and interesting and will require some periods of flexible working during TAR/shutdown events. It includes working with the INEOS TAR & asset teams and also with the TAR contractors and vendors.

The key role requirements include:

  • Ensure timely distribution and retrieval of documents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain a TAR Document control system, manage documentation in and out from the TAR team internally and to external contractors.
  • Print, collate and manage the storage of TAR technical documents / drawings.
  • Print & collate workpacks with all supporting documentation.
  • Update TAR procedures and other technical documents.
  • Maintain and update electronic Information Management systems for use by the TAR e.g. Alfresco and Sharepoint.
  • Manage scope changes and ensure all updates are incorporated from approved workscope change requests and ensure change is communicated to the agreed distribution.
  • Support the TAR Preps Leader with the management and control of the TAR scope worklist.
  • Support the TAR Preps Leaders with development and management of the data systems required to track and report planning & preparations progress.
  • Generate and update action recording systems and trackers for each TAR. Support the TAR Planning Lead with the management and control of the TAR (shutdown) worklist.
  • Monitor and update the TAR team progress trackers and registers.
  • Assist the TAR Preps Leader to manage approved workscope change requests into workpacks and documents.
  • General administration - support the TAR team with IT, accommodation and stationary requests. Take minutes and create and update action registers.

Please note since this is a contract position we can only consider candidates who are eligible to live and work in the UK without employer VISA sponsorship.

About You

  • Proven experience in document control within construction, engineering, or major projects.
  • Familiarity with Engineering Documents and Drawings such as PIDs and isometrics.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of documentation efficiently and accurately.
  • NQ in admin function or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Positive attitude, self-confident, independent and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Attention to detail and understand the importance of accuracy and quality of data.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise work and to refocus tasks to meet changing priorities.
