What’s the role?
We’re looking for a Talent Lead to help shape how we attract brilliant people to tombola. Leading our Talent Acquisition team, you'll create and deliver inclusive and effective recruitment strategies that support our growth and help our teams thrive.
Reporting into the Head of People, you'll work closely with leaders across the business – and with Finance – to make sure we’re planning ahead, hiring fairly, and bringing in the right skills at the right time. This is a key role in delivering our People Strategy and helping us build teams that reflect our values, our customers, and the communities we’re part of.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and supporting our Talent Acquisition team to deliver fair, consistent and inclusive hiring across all areas of the business
- Designing and evolving a recruitment process that’s clear, transparent and works for everyone
- Partnering with leaders to shape hiring plans and workforce strategy
- Helping teams make smart, consistent hiring decisions across all our locations
- Keeping our recruitment practices aligned with data protection, compliance and equity standards
- Collaborating with the wider People team to support our long-term People Strategy
- Using recruitment data and insights to improve our processes and candidate experience
- Building great relationships with external recruitment partners, keeping quality high and costs in check
- Working with Finance to plan and track recruitment budgets and costs
- Strong experience in recruitment across different roles, teams and locations
- Good understanding of compliance, equity and data protection in hiring
- Experience leading a recruitment team and helping people do their best work
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
- Strategic thinker with a practical approach to long-term planning
- Experience managing recruitment budgets and headcount planning
- Clear, confident communicator who’s comfortable being a point of escalation
- Data-driven and insight-led, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Creative in sourcing approaches and confident using recruitment marketing tools
- Ideally some experience with job architecture, talent mapping or organisational design
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, and ideally familiar with Agile ways of working
- A good understanding of how recruitment connects to the whole employee experience
- Someone who can navigate change and ambiguity with confidence
