City: Inverurie
Contract type: Full time

Our Benefits
Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.
We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards!
We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.
Are you a positive and motivated person who is interested in supporting vulnerable adults to live the best lives possible? Are you looking to gain great experience in a satisfying job where you feel supported? If this sounds like you, maybe a Support Worker role with an award-winning charity is the change you’ve been looking for! At St. James's Court in Inverurie, we support individuals with a wide range of needs to live as independently as possible in their own flats.
The individuals you'll be supporting range in age from 22 to 60 and enjoy lots of great activities, so we're looking for people to join the team who are interested in trying new things and supporting people to achieve their own personal goals. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support people with walking football, walking rugby, bowling, going to discos, enjoying live music, visiting the local pub and anything they enjoy. The people we support have a large shared garden and love to spend time there socialising, growing vegetables, partying and making use of the garden's (mostly non-alcoholic) bar! Our staff team are very supportive and experienced and also provide some support with:
The people we support like to be supported by people who respect them and their homes, but who also like to have fun! We like people who are reliable and honest and are able to remain calm under pressure, so they can support people effectively and build fantastic relationships.
