We have an opportunity for a caring and compassionate person to join our Westmorland and Furness Care Services team, as a Reablement Support Worker.
Our Reablement Team, work with people who have been identified as having reablement needs to enable them to achieve identified outcomes; supporting them to retain as much independence as possible and remain living within their local community in their own home environment.
About The Role
As a Reablement Support Worker your role is to enable individuals to remain in their own homes, supporting their recovery after a stay in hospital.
You will get the opportunity to know people individually, supporting their recovery and wellbeing, providing physical and emotional care, whilst assisting them to remain as independent as possible within their own homes ensuring that reablement outcomes are met in accordance with their person centred, strength based reablement plan.
No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development – we are looking for the right people, with the right qualities. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with a Adults Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults.

- Due to the nature if this role there will be a need to respond to service users who will not always be accessible via public transport; therefore, there is a requirement to travel independently via a motorised vehicle***
