Teacher – Core Specialist (Slough)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teacher to join our team, specializing in delivering high-quality lessons in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science across Key Stages 1 and 2 in Slough schools. Whether for short-term sickness cover or ongoing placements, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in students’ learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in core subjects, following school-provided plans where applicable.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Provide support to students, ensuring consistent academic progress during teacher absences.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and contribute to a collaborative environment.
  
  

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching core subjects at the primary level.
• Flexibility and readiness to work across different schools in the Slough area.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A valid child-enhanced DBS check and adherence to safer recruitment practices.
