About The Role

East Kent Colleges Group is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to help keep our campus spotless and welcoming. Supply work offers you flexibility, as and when work is required.
As a supply worker on our bank of staff list, you'll mostly work at Canterbury College, however there will also be opportunities across our group in Ashford, Broadstairs, Dover in Folkestone. If you are interested in working at our other sites, this can also be facilitated.
The shift work can vary throughout the day, from early morning to evening work. You can let us know what shifts you can do.
Your Role: Maintain the cleanliness of the college buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for students and staff. Prior experience working within health and safety guidelines is beneficial.
If you're passionate about creating clean, inviting spaces, come and work with us. Plenty of our supply workers are successful in applying for permanent positions with us at a later date.

- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including the use of machinery.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in a commercial cleaning environment or the ability to learn quickly.
- Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Some technology/computer experience would be an advantage.
