We are seeking a Supply Chain Solutions Specialist to join our Supply Chain Process Management (SCPM) team which provides business solutions to Sony Europe for the planning and forecasting of the business.

In this role, you will be involved in the support and maintenance of stable & high-quality solutions, hands-on development of tools and reports, coordination of the EU Demand planning cycle, and troubleshooting issues. You will be instrumental in driving the financial forecast and Purchase Planning forecast for Sony Europe.

You Will

  • Review and improve current toolsets and processes for long-term solution provision.
  • Work with the SCPM Head and the Reporting and Governance Head to review KPI & Process hand in hand to evaluate the route forward.
  • Embed tool improvements into our standard way of working, collaborating across departments.
  • Ensure the monthly planning cycle is managed effectively, with accurate data fed into the planning process for our Pan-European business groups.
  • Provide first-line support for the Demand planning community, supported by additional team members.
  • Control the overall Sony Europe resource allocation schedule and provide training & support to new users.
  • Drive and project manage future rollouts with the support of other Sony groups.
  • Ad-hoc analysis and reconciliation among source systems and reports.
  • Develop / Design BI planning solutions and design/define/create new reports.

You Will Bring

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Expertise in XL, DB modelling, querying, and BI tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience in ERP systems.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in holding meetings and giving presentations.
  • Highly organized and results-focused.
  • Analytical and numerate with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to explain complex processes and calculations under pressure.
  • Focus on end-user customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in Supply Chain or Demand Planning is preferable but not essential.
