Your Role

Ready to shape the future of engineering? Capgemini Engineering is on the lookout for passionate Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Consultants to join our fast-growing team. Whether it’s aerospace, defence, or energy, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation—helping world-class clients transform their systems engineering capabilities and embrace the power of digital. From early concept design to in-service support, you’ll work across the full system lifecycle, delivering cutting-edge solutions that make a real impact.

At Capgemini, you won’t just follow best practices—you’ll help define them. You’ll work with the latest tools, frameworks, and technologies, including our proprietary REVEAL Requirements Engineering Framework, to deliver smarter, faster, and more integrated MBSE solutions. Surrounded by some of the brightest minds in the industry, you’ll grow fast, take ownership from day one, and thrive in a collaborative, high-energy environment where your ideas matter.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Support MBSE transformation activities by contributing to process, tool, and methodology improvements across engineering projects.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather MBSE requirements, help define solutions, and communicate MBSE principles clearly across teams.
  • Assist in configuring and using MBSE toolsets, establishing traceability, and supporting integration with other engineering tools.
  • Contribute to project delivery and team development by sharing knowledge, supporting junior colleagues, and applying MBSE best practices in live projects.

Your Profile

  • Degree in engineering or a related scientific field, with experience in early-stage systems engineering processes.
  • Hands-on experience with MBSE tools (e.g. Cameo, Rhapsody, Capella) and frameworks such as Magic Grid, Arcadia, or SYSMOD.
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining SysML-based models and applying MBSE methods in real-world engineering projects.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in aerospace, defence, or energy sectors within multidisciplinary engineering environments (mechanical, electrical, software, systems).
  • Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management (e.g. DOORS), system design, validation/verification, and MBSE integration.
  • Familiarity with tools and frameworks such as Matlab/Simulink, UAF, TOGAF, or Archimate, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; INCOSE certification (or willingness to pursue) is a plus.
