About This Opportunity

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager, based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. The job holder will contribute to the implementation and promotion of a future oriented and sustainable lean Supply Chain Management in the plant and will report to the Plant Manager.
Your mission in Eviosys
In this role, you are responsible for leading the team in charge of short-term production planning of the various production areas on the basis of the specified medium and long-term planning and warehouse target specifications with ensuring raw material and component availability (Plant Sourcing). You supervise the work of your team members, ensure a good running of the department in order to prepare and conduct regular coordination meetings between sales and production to ensure on-time customer delivery (PSI) in the most effective way. You take care of the cooperation with sales, production, controlling, personnel and other group companies, customers, suppliers and forwarding agencies. You ensure the implementation of the supply agreements (Otif) as well as for the compliance with the specified internal and external controls and continuous development of all logistics processes so that the budget targets (KPI) for logistics are being met. Further you budget and track all relevant key performance indicators in logistics and lead, motivate and develop employees of plant logistics. You are expected to participate in (inter-) national projects.
About You
You have minimum 3 years experience in Supply Chain Management in a complex industrial environment. With strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills, you value teamwork and respect for people. You have a continuous improvement mind-set with creative thinking, problem solving and sound decision making competencies. Good at numbers, you have the ability to provide analysis and insight to complex data. You have proven experience in using ERP systems. You are fluent in English.

Principal Accountabilities
Supply Chain
- Manage and monitor achievement of short, medium and long-term manufacturing plans based on customer forecast, delivery times, stock targets, and material availability, in line with machine capabilities and planned maintenance.
- Lead site level planning activity (PSI), along with the Plant Scheduler.
- Oversee control of overseas export documentation.
- Manage flow and delivery of secondary packaging for the site.
- Responsible for monitoring and continuous improvement of NOTIF.
- Develop professional and effective relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers, and inter-company Supply Chain Network, to support the business.
- Manage the on-site Transport Contract to achieve optimum performance, in line with business priorities and budget constraints.
- Manage the materials handling equipment (FLT, barcoding) contracts, ensuring timely and cost-effective service.
- Effectively manage can stocks to ensure financial accuracy, provide minimal stock holding and elimination of slow-moving elements across the supply chain.
- Monitoring and control of stocks of closures, ends, copper, secondary packaging.
- Validate MRP system (JD Edwards) data to ensure capacity planning accuracy.
- Maintain and provide data for financial reporting (i.e. Mid Mon, budget review, PSI, Plant Review), particularly month end integrity controls.
- Lead projects and develop improvements to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Actively participate in Management Review and other Plant Management activities, including out of hours support.
- Local co-ordination of IT systems, including fault reporting for supply-chain issues.
- Manage and develop the plant Logistics personnel to support succession planning and ensure suitable short-term cover is always available when required
- Oversee the local purchasing and store’s function. Ensuring stock availability at all times and budgetary control.
- Participate in Internal Audits, and EHS activities such as workplace inspections, Safety observations and risk assessments.
