We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team at Delkia.


Overview of the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of procurement and supply chain management, including negotiations, supplier rebates, contract placement, and the issuance of terms and conditions. This role is critical in supporting our procurement processes and requires a hands-on approach whilst achieving our forward strategic vision for Delkia’s supply chain. The ideal candidate will be someone who embodies our critical values of teamwork and collaboration, maintains work-life balance, and is relentlessly client-focused.


Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in operations as well as be the process owner for procurement and supply chain management.
  • Oversee negotiations with suppliers to secure rebates, discounts, and favourable terms.
  • Manage the placement of contracts and issue terms and conditions in alignment with company policies
  • Support the procurement team with expert advice and hands-on involvement in procurement activities.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, strategic partners and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement and supply chain activities.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the procurement team
  • Maintain an effective supply chain audit and scoring system for enhance performance on an annual basis.
  • Maintain a balance between achieving operational excellence and ensuring work-life balance for the team.
  • Uphold the company's core values of integrity, trust, and accountability in all actions and decisions.


Desired Qualifications / Prerequisites:

  • Must be MCIPS registered (Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply).
  • Extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably within the engineering and technology sectors.
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognised UK university
  • ERP and MRP experience of implementation and continuous improvement
  • Proven track record of successful negotiations and supplier management including adequate capability and capacity delivery
  • Strong and interpersonal leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Be a company ambassador whilst maintain internal project and opportunity confidentiality as well as protect company secrets
  • Demonstrated commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity, trust, and accountability and flow these requirements to partners and supply chain operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a focus on client needs.
