Our dynamic and successful Quality Assurance Department is pivotal in ensuring that the quality, safety and legality for all Lidl food and nearfood products are tested and guaranteed.
We are now looking for a Supplier Compliance Administrator to support the department. You will play a key part at an exciting time of rapid expansion for Lidl. The team have continued to pride themselves on not only meeting, but exceeding the expectations of every customer by providing products of the highest possible quality across our stores.
We ensure the quality and safety of all Lidl GB’s own brand products, through a structured programme of testing, auditing, and compliance.
You will be ensuring our suppliers meet legal and internal Lidl requirements through due diligence analysis testing and supplier production site audits. This is a quality-driven multi-tasking role making you a vital member of the Quality Assurance Team!

What you'll do
- Risk assessing items based on safety criteria and product knowledge
- Processing lab testing and supplier audit reports onto an internal database system, and analysing results
- Ensuring Lidl technical compliance is met and investigating non-conformances with suppliers
- Assisting in calibration of Service Providers
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure product and supplier compliance.
- Liaising with suppliers, certification bodies, laboratories and warehouse personnel to maintain compliance with the sampling and audit programmes
- Witnessing auditors on ad-hoc basis to ensure compliance with Lidl Audit Standard.
- Ad hoc QA tasks
What you'll need
- Passionate about food safety and quality
- Food Science/ Science based degree desired but not essential
- Food Industry experience preferable (Industry placements will be considered)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Risk based approach to technical issues
- Comprehensive Excel skills and experience of working with other Microsoft Office programmes
- Highly focused and accurate with an uncompromising eye for detail
- A motivated and proactive team player, with a can-do attitude, who is also capable of working independently
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and confidence in partnering with stakeholders
