We are looking for an enthusiastic Student Adviser to join our dedicated welfare team. The post holder will provide high-quality advice and support to students, helping them navigate complex welfare issues and access the right interventions at the right time

We are looking for an enthusiastic Student Adviser to join our dedicated welfare team. The post holder will provide high-quality advice and support to students, helping them navigate complex welfare issues and access the right interventions at the right time
The post holder should have experience:
- Working one-to-one with students or clients to assess needs and identify appropriate interventions and support options.
- Assessing and managing welfare-related risk, including concerns for the safety of the individual and others.
- Collaborating effectively with internal teams and external agencies to deliver coordinated support.
- Handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Supporting individuals experiencing serious welfare concerns with empathy and compassion.
- Providing guidance and contributing to the development of policies, procedures and support provision.
- Delivering or contributing to training sessions related to welfare.
- Managing a varied caseload, prioritising urgent and complex cases appropriately.
- Demonstrating awareness of key welfare issues including domestic violence, bullying and harassment, victims of crime, homelessness, and honour-based abuse.
