What you'll be doing
Your Accountabilities Will Be As Follows
- Installation, repair and maintenance of street lighting assets, including columns, lanterns, LED lantern replacements, beacons, lamps, brackets, underground SWA cables, illuminated bollards, illuminated signs, feeder pillars and subway lights.
- Predominantly lone working, however there will be occasions where team working is required.
- Painting of various street furniture.
- Ground excavations and reinstatement for installation works.
- Dynamic risk assessments.
- Responsible for company property, equipment and vehicles.
- Stand-by rota for out of hours call-outs and emergencies.
Essential
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Competence in street lighting operations.
- Knowledge of fault-finding, repairs and general maintenance.
- Comfortable with basic IT – a tablet device will be provided for site works.

- An understanding of Sign Lighting & Guarding
- Electrical testing qualification / experience would be beneficial
